Project Title:

The Project for Construction and Support of School of Medical Technology,Quetta
Organization: School of Medical Technology
District/Area Coverage: Quetta
Grant:

US $ 57,067

Duration: N.A.

About:

The School of Medical Technology is the first training institute in the private sector in Quetta, engaged in certificate level training courses of paramedics and takes students from adjacent areas of Punjab and Sindh provinces as well. As there is a rapid increase in the demand for trained manpower for delivery of health services both in the public and the private sector, government is training a limited number of paramedics. This institute endeavours to fill the gap for demand of trained manpower in the health sector. So far 254 students have passed out of this school. Under the GRA project, we will provide necessary equipment, an ambulance, construction costs and furniture for premises of this institute to meet the challenge of providing quality training to paramedics for delivery of health services in Quetta and adjacent areas.
